Here are a few pictures of the latest addition to the missionary team here… Hannah Raquel Perales Lynch was born on the 3rd February and is the first born of Jim and Zeida (NIVS PERU). Both baby and mom are doing well, although please keep Zeida in your prayers as she recovers from her ceasarian section.
Many of you who keep track of the world news will know that Bolivia has had a change of president. In recent days, his changes to government and procedure are resulting in certain groups in certain areas being asked to leave Bolivia. It is possible that in the future this will have an effect on our colleagues living in Bolivia. Please pray for them, their ministry and their safety during these times of political change.
Well, I cannot believe that it is already the second month of the year. I have had ‘update website’ on our to do list for a month now! So please accept our apologies for this late “Happy New Year”. We pray that for all of us this year will be blessed and productive for the glory of God!
We are currently in the USA involved in some meetings and training in Baltimore, Kansas City, Cincinnatti and Columbus. We enjoyed spending time in Bel Air (where one of our home churches is located) and Rising Sun, speaking in the church, meeting old and new friends, reconnecting with members of a work and witness youth team tat were in Peru at the beginning of the year, and having the first meeting of the Central Andean Field Partnership. We will be returning to Lima next week after another weekend of deputation services and partnership meetings in Ohio.
