Baby Boom

By Jen, 24 May, 2006, No Comment

The Central Andean Field is experiencing a Baby Boom! We are currently in Chiclayo with the Work and Witness coordinators Luz Marie and Jose David, and they just found out that they are pregnant :) The baby is due at the end of January. That will make three new babies in less than one year for our team! Hannah Raquel (the baby of Jim and Zieda Lynch) is now three months old and growing well, and I am almost 4 months pregnant and starting to show!! Please keep our relatively young team here in your prayers as we experience these life changes. Here is a photo of the latest parents to be!

Our Recent Travels

Thanks to everyone for praying for our jungle trip and our mountain trip. Both went excellently and we really enjoyed getting to know the areas and the Nazarenes from the churches in these two districts here in Peru. We first visited Moyobamba to visit some Compassionate Ministry projects that exist in the jungle and to meet with the leaders to discuss how these projects can be self sustaining. We then visited Arequipa last week to speak at an NMI convention. It was stressful as it was the first time we have taught seminars in Spanish, however, it was fun and the Peruvians who attended were very patient with our abilities and seemed to enjoy the convention as well. Here are a few pictures of the areas!
